Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for supporting our customer's cybersecurity needs. Your primary focus will be on deploying, managing, and operating SIEM solutions, including Splunk Enterprise. You will also be responsible for assessing threats and vulnerabilities, developing rules and queries for risk analysis, and ensuring devices report logs to SIEM. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and maintain assets, monitor and remediate web application security vulnerabilities, and validate and enhance technical security controls. If you have a strong understanding of cyber threats, Linux/Windows OS, STIGs, and IAVM, and excellent communication and teamwork skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy, manage, and operate SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk Enterprise)
Assess threats and vulnerabilities, develop rules and queries for risk analysis
Ensure devices report logs to SIEM, troubleshoot and maintain assets
Monitor and remediate web application security vulnerabilities
Validate and enhance technical security controls

Requirements

DoD 8570.01-M IAT level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE)
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or similar
Training/certification in Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Splunk Enterprise
Experience with SIEM rulesets, alerts, dashboards, and reports
Strong understanding of cyber threats, Linux/Windows OS, STIGs, and IAVM
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
