We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies Main Hosp in Loveland, CO.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) utilizing the nursing process. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in critical care nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Model proficiency through precepting new staff members and contributing to a culture of excellence.
- Contribute to a safe and quality-focused environment at the point of care.
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
- Minimum 6 months of ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification.
