Dietitian Nutritionist

We are seeking a highly motivated Registered Dietitian to join our team at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross, GA. As a Dietitian Nutritionist, you will play a vital role in providing nutrition care for patients and contributing to the success of our healthcare facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for a registered dietitian with acute care experience to demonstrate their clinical knowledge base, leadership skills, and customer service expertise. The ideal candidate will be a self-directed, flexible individual who can work well in a team environment and possess strong critical thinking skills.

• Provide nutrition care for patients as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain Joint Commission/State/Federal and Sodexo standards.
• Be responsible for regulatory accreditation, review, and establishing/maintaining standards of care.

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and becomes registered within 120 days of hire.
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

The estimated salary for this position is $62,000 - $82,000 per year, depending on experience. This compensation range is based on national averages for similar positions in the healthcare industry and takes into account factors such as location, education level, and years of experience.
