Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team in Georgia-Macon. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for promoting safety, becoming familiar with tools and equipment, learning to diagnose problems, and performing maintenance duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote Safety: Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the plant.
  • Become Familiar with Tools and Equipment: Use a variety of hand and power tools in performing duties.
  • Learn to Diagnose Problems: Learn to diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective components, test, and make regular adjustments.
  • Perform Maintenance: Perform a variety of maintenance and carpentry functions.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED is required. Technical school is preferred.
  • Functional Knowledge: Must have thorough knowledge of welding material, welding properties, and various types of metals.
  • Welding Skills: Must have welding experience. Must be able to perform brazing, welding, arc-welding, and cutting tasks.
  • Flexibility: Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands.
