Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Peninsula Pointe. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our community, including performing routine repairs, maintaining equipment, and providing safe and reliable transportation services for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and Repairs
    • Perform routine building maintenance, including painting, floor care, pressure washing, and basic plumbing repairs.
    • Ensure all repairs and service orders are completed promptly, according to operating and safety standards.
    • Maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment.
  • Transportation Services
    • Provide safe, reliable, courteous, and efficient transportation service for residents to and from various human service locations, work sites, educational institutions, medical facilities, grocery stores, and others.
    • Follow and understand the rules of the road and transportation safety procedures.
    • Maintain current driving license per state regulations to perform transportation services.
  • General Responsibilities
    • Work within the legal scope of local and state codes.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Prior maintenance experience is required with a general maintenance skillset, including HVAC, drywall repair and texturing, carpentry, minor electrical, plumbing, basic repairs, painting, floor care, and landscaping.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
    • Must have a Passenger endorsement certification.
    • Experience in the operation of large vehicles; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
