Job Overview

Computer World Services Corporation (CWS) is in search of a highly skilled individual to take on the role of Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst. The selected candidate will engage in cybersecurity operations that encompass network security evaluations and risk assessments. Responsibilities include recommending and implementing suitable cybersecurity solutions across various network environments, as well as configuring and managing firewalls and other security mechanisms. The position involves both independent work and collaboration with team members, contributing to various aspects of cybersecurity projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducts proactive and continuous monitoring of both internal and external environments to identify cyber risks and threats, focusing on malicious software, vulnerabilities, and potential attacks.
  • Performs analysis and monitoring of threat intelligence tools, including managing service contracts and vendor relationships.
  • Assists in the assessment, development, testing, and deployment of innovative data access control technologies and security measures.
  • Advises on mitigation strategies for identified threats within the client’s operational framework.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of tools and best practices related to advanced persistent threats.
  • Regularly composes and disseminates concise intelligence reports derived from technical analysis and gathered threat data for internal stakeholders.
  • Provides a cybersecurity perspective in discussions regarding MITRE ATT&CK for Cloud.
  • Collaborates with peer cybersecurity teams to analyze incidents and support the technical investigation of malicious activities.
  • Monitors potential threats linked to intrusion attempts and network-based attacks, coordinating incident response with cybersecurity teams.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of six years of experience in an Information Technology setting, focusing on network and cybersecurity.
  • Experience with the Department of Defense or agencies within the U.S. intelligence community is preferred.

Certifications
  • DoD Information Assurance Technical 3 (IAT Level 2) certification.
  • Foundational Cloud Certification.
  • Network and/or systems certifications, such as Cisco CCNP or Microsoft MCSE/MCITP.

Security Clearance
  • Active TOP SECRET clearance.
  • Ability to obtain SCI clearance; prior DoD SCI experience is desirable.
