Memory Care Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Memory Care Manager to join our team at Greenspring Village by Erickson Senior Living. As a key member of our senior living community, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and performance of our Memory Care neighborhood, ensuring the highest quality of resident care and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and screenings of potential residents to ensure the best possible care and support.
- Evaluate the psychosocial and activity of daily living (ADL) needs of residents in Memory Care and coordinate care and services to meet their unique needs.
- Develop and implement engaging activities and programs for residents with cognitive impairment, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Lead a holistic, person-centered approach to assessment and care planning, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our residents.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop support groups and educational programming opportunities for residents and family members in the Memory Care neighborhood.
- Support the transition of residents between levels of care, ensuring a seamless and compassionate experience.
- Maintain a working knowledge of Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as facility policies regarding Memory Care, to ensure compliance and excellence in care.

Requirements:
- A 4-year degree in a relevant field, such as Social Work, Nursing, Activities, Health Care/Administration, or Gerontology.
- A minimum of 3 years of related experience providing services for residents with cognitive impairment and/or leading a Memory Care or Assisted Living neighborhood.
- Knowledge of the geriatric population and the aging process, including the physical, psychological, and social needs of the elderly.
- Demonstration of progressive approaches to supporting and enhancing the quality of life for seniors with cognitive impairment.
