About This Role:
We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Specialist to join our team in the Emergency Room at TotalMed. As a critical care specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care and ensure efficient delivery of emergency services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat patients with emergent medical conditions in a fast-paced emergency room setting.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to stabilize patients and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Monitor patient vital signs, response to treatment, and changes in condition, adjusting care plans as necessary to address emergent needs.
- Advocate for patients' needs and coordinate care transitions, including admissions to inpatient units or referrals to specialty services.
- Educate patients and their families on post-emergency care instructions, follow-up appointments, and community resources for ongoing support.
Requirements:
- Current RN license
- BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
- Two years of recent ER RN experience
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
