Job Title: Assembly Mechanic

Under the supervision of a senior assembly mechanic, this entry-level position involves performing a variety of assembly tasks, including part-fitting operations, tool usage, and quality control checks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Layout parts according to manufacturing orders and drawings
  • Pull and replace tools, jigs, templates, and fixtures as required
  • Package and box assemblies for shipment
  • Operate designated machines and hand tools as instructed by supervision
  • Familiarize oneself with company assembly processes and procedures
Requirements:
  • Riveting, nutplate installations, bonding, bushing, and bearing installations under supervision
  • Blueprint reading and basic math skills
  • General Tier II level aerospace assembly concepts and procedures
  • Familiarity with computer-based MRP/ERP data entry
  • Good manual dexterity and ability to maintain close tolerances
