Purpose and Responsibilities

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will administer nursing care and treat patients in our medical office, under the direction of a Physician, Advanced Clinical Provider, or Registered Nurse.

Your duties will include:

  • Preparing patients for examinations and assisting with procedures
  • Administering injections and medications, dressing wounds and incisions, and providing accurate information to patients
  • Collecting patient data and maintaining records in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
  • Cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment, and maintaining stock of supplies and medications
  • Conducting laboratory tests and performing related tasks as directed
  • Acting as a receptionist, performing secretarial duties, and communicating with insurance companies
  • Responding to patient phone calls and messages, and educating patients on medications and treatment plans

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An active NC or Compact LPN License
  • Successful completion of an accredited Practical Nursing Program

Preferred qualifications include one year of clinical nursing experience.
