Nurse Specialist

As a skilled Registered Nurse, you will provide specialized care for patients transitioning from critical care to general medical-surgical units. This role requires a strong understanding of patient assessment, monitoring, and treatment in a step-down unit setting.
Responsibilities
• Assess and monitor patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status in the step-down unit.
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families on post-intensive care recovery, medication management, and self-care techniques.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to facilitate patient progress and optimize outcomes in the step-down unit.
Requirements
• Current RN license
• BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
• Two years of recent Step Down experience
• Strong communication and adaptability skills.
