About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Centered Treatment Specialist/Therapist to join our team at Saint Francis Community Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing intensive prevention services to families in their homes, helping them develop the skills and solutions they need to overcome challenges and achieve a more stable and fulfilling life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide in-home family treatment, adhering to the Family Centered Treatment (FCT) model and ensuring fidelity to its principles.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working closely with families to identify and address their unique needs and goals.
  • Conduct regular home visits, providing support and guidance to families as they work to overcome challenges and achieve stability.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, teachers, and healthcare providers, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to family support.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes, using the FCT language and fidelity documents.
  • Participate in regular team supervision meetings, receiving feedback and guidance from colleagues and supervisors.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and training opportunities in the field of family-centered treatment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as social work, psychology, or sociology.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Pass a background check, including a drug screen, MVR, KBI, Child Abuse and Neglect Central Registry Clearance Check, an Adult Registry check, and a FBI Fingerprint check.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed, to accommodate family schedules.
  • Ability to travel to client homes and other locations, as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with families from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
  • Experience working with families, children, and adolescents, particularly in a prevention or intervention setting.
  • Knowledge of child and adolescent development, family systems, and cultural competence.
  • Ability to work with families from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and linguistic backgrounds.
