Job Title: Credentialing Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Credentialing Coordinator to join our team at Network Temp Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining communication with credentialing contacts at facilities and provider sites, reviewing provider re-credentialing files, and performing primary source verification.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain communication with credentialing contacts at facilities and provider sites.
  • Review provider re-credentialing files for completion and presentation to the Credentialing Committee.
  • Perform primary source verification on required elements in accordance with regulatory guidelines and policies.
  • Data entry and upkeep of provider information in the credentialing database.
  • Verify New York State OPMC, Medicare/Medicaid lists, and other pertinent databases for current sanctions and restrictions.
  • Generate and disseminate monthly provider credentialing updates.
  • Respond to requests for credentialing information and copies of credentialing files.
  • Generate and disseminate provider rosters to delegated facilities and provider groups.
  • Perform annual delegated file audits and participate in pre-delegation and delegation site reviews.

Requirements:

  • High school degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2 years of previous experience with provider credentialing processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of CACTUS or MD-Staff preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Estimated Salary: $66,240 per year based on 32 hours/week, assuming an average workweek of 40 hours and 52 weeks/year.
