Primary Care Physician

Garnet Health is seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our medical staff.
Responsibilities- Provide primary and continuing care to patients in Garnet Health Medical Center
- Lead, coordinate, and administer medical services
- Partner with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and best practices
- MD or DO degree with internal medicine or family medicine residency
- Professional clinical experience in primary care
- NYS Medical License, valid and unrestricted
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- NY State DEA Certification, valid and unrestricted
- Current NY State Opioid Prescriber Certificate
- Current Infectious Certificate
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent contact with various staff members, patients, and community members. You will be exposed to various environmental demands and hazards, including odors, chemical agents, dust, fumes, gases, sharp objects, and extreme temperatures.
Physical DemandsThis role requires the ability to perform full anatomical range of motion, with evidence of visual and aural acuity, finger and hand dexterity, and the ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs and push over 75 lbs.
Mental DemandsThis role requires the ability to foster collaborative relationships, work well under pressure, organize and synthesize new information, and prioritize tasks. You will need to possess critical thinking, analytical skills, flexibility, and the ability to multi-task.
