Engineering Instructor

Germanna Community College is seeking a highly qualified adjunct faculty member to teach engineering courses in a classroom environment. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in the specific discipline and experience in teaching and learning management systems.

• Teach engineering courses to students with varying academic backgrounds and experiences
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans and assessments
• Utilize relevant technology and learning management systems to facilitate teaching and learning
• Maintain consistent communication and virtual support mechanisms to ensure student success
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance virtual education skills

• Master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the specific discipline
• Official transcripts required prior to final offer
• Ability to teach in a variety of modalities, including virtually
• Commitment to continuous professional development in virtual education

• Prior teaching experience
• Work experience in the field
• Experience with online teaching and developing online courses
