Job Responsibilities:
- Delivering compassionate and proficient nursing care to critically ill and injured animals.
- Assisting veterinarians in medical procedures, including triage, diagnostics, and treatment protocols.
- Monitoring vital signs of patients and responding swiftly to any changes in their condition.
- Administering medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians.
- Maintaining precise medical records and ensuring adherence to hospital protocols.
- Collaborating with other veterinary team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a veterinary technician is preferred.
- Proficient in nursing procedures, including venipuncture, catheter placement, and anesthesia monitoring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Dedication to providing outstanding patient care and client service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
