Claims Internship Overview

Sentry is seeking a Claims Intern to join our team and gain valuable experience in the insurance industry. As a Claims Intern, you will work closely with our experienced claims professionals to learn the ins and outs of claims handling and negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Claims Negotiation: Assist in negotiating claims with customers and other stakeholders to resolve disputes and reach mutually beneficial agreements.
• Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service to ensure that customers are satisfied with the claims process and receive fair treatment.
• Claims Verification: Verify coverage and investigate losses to ensure that claims are handled fairly and efficiently.
• Documentation: Document all claims-related activities and information gathered to ensure accurate and transparent record-keeping.
• Licensing: Obtain required licenses and certifications to perform claims-related tasks.

Requirements:

• Education: Pursuing an undergraduate or associate degree in Business, Insurance, Communication, or a related field.
• GPA: Maintain a minimum in-major GPA of 3.00.
• Expected Graduation: Expected graduation of December 2025 through May 2026.
• Visa Status: Sentry does not offer employment in this position to holders of F-1, J-1, and H-1 Visas for the purpose of obtaining practical experience.
