Job Title: Phlebotomist Floater - 1st Shift

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist Floater to join our team. As a Phlebotomist Floater, you will be responsible for drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draw blood samples from patients in a safe and accurate manner.
  • Prepare blood samples for lab testing while following established procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and ensure a positive experience.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Travel to multiple locations to provide coverage and support.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5 years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Patient Service Center or In-Office Phlebotomy environment preferred.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience required.

Additional Information: Floaters are expected to be on time at all assigned locations and have a clean driving record. Floaters are also responsible for submitting mileage for expense reimbursement.
