Expert Neonatal Nurse Specialist

About the Role
As a skilled Neonatal Registered Nurse, you'll provide specialized care in Neonatal units, assessing, monitoring, and managing neonates. This role requires collaboration with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for neonates and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to newborns in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) or equivalent settings.
- Audit neonates' health status, track vital signs, and administer prescribed treatments.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for neonates, incorporating developmental screenings and feeding evaluations.
- Educate parents on newborn care, breastfeeding techniques, and neonatal health issues to ensure smooth transition to home care.
Requirements
- Holding a current RN license.
- BLS certification, with additional certifications as required by facilities.
- At least two years of recent Neonatal RN experience.
- Demonstrating strong communication and adaptability skills.
