Job Description:

The Intake position is a key role in our dispensaries, providing a warm and welcoming experience for patients and customers. As an Intake Specialist, you will be responsible for processing patients and customers, operating front desk responsibilities, and providing product education.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provides the highest level of customer service while interacting with patients and customers on-site and over the phone, having an optimistic attitude and welcoming personality.
  • Intake Process: Processes patients and customers by validating identification and entering information into our POS system.
  • Front Desk Operations: Operates front desk responsibilities such as answering phones, emails, checking-in patients, and updating patient files.
  • Product Education: Provides all new patients/customers with a brief explanation of services and becomes well-educated with all cannabis products offered.
  • Security Liaison: Acts as the liaison to all departments on security needs, manages all visitor access of vendors, contractors, etc., partnered with Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
  • Continuous Learning: Motivated to learn and execute new tasks during downtime.

Requirements:

  • Policies and Regulations: Must stay current and adhere to all policies and regulations of the state cannabis agency.
  • Age Requirement: Must meet age requirement as outlined by state cannabis agency.
  • Background Checks: Able to pass all background checks as required by state cannabis agency.
  • Scheduling Flexibility: Able to accommodate scheduling that may include varied shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Punctuality: Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively with customers/caregivers and team members.
  • Customer Service Experience: Prior customer service experience in a hospitality, pharmacy, customer services, or retail environment.
  • Productivity: Works in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity.
  • Communication Abilities: Demonstrated oral and written communication capabilities.
