Respiratory Therapist - NICU/PICU Specialist

Job Summary:

Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a NICU/PICU Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to critically ill newborns and children. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in the NICU and PICU, including ventilation management, oxygen therapy, and aerosol therapy.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop plans to improve their condition.
  • Operate and maintain complex respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen concentrators.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
Requirements:
  • Current RRT certification and Indiana State License.
  • Minimum 18 months of recent NICU or PICU experience required.
  • Experience in a level 1 trauma children's hospital within the last year.
  • Proficiency with Servo I, Servo U, and Hamilton G5 ventilators.
