Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee audit/tax and office profitability, recommending improvements to processes
  • Set project budgets for audit/tax services
  • Coordinate various stages of large projects, including staffing, locations, and scheduling
  • Provide tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse clientele including partnerships, corporations, S-corporations, and individuals
  • Mentor tax professionals and assistants involved in client projects
  • Deliver high-quality tax services and guidance
  • Engage in marketing our tax services to potential clients
  • Manage billing, collections, and budgets
  • Collaborate with colleagues to expand the tax practice
  • Conduct in-house training seminars for continuous education
  • Participate in or oversee client audits by Federal and State tax authorities through the appellate process

Qualifications:

  • 8 to 12 years of experience in public accounting with a strong grasp of accounting and auditing principles and/or tax regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting is mandatory.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • Proficient in computer systems and accounting/tax software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Master's degree in Taxation or a recognized specialized certification is preferred.
  • Proven ability to generate new business or cross-sell services.
