Job Title: Licensed Veterinary Technician

Boght and Oakwood Veterinary Clinics are seeking a skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical services.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinarians in medical procedures, including surgery, anesthesia, and patient monitoring
  • Conduct physical assessments, take vital signs, and record observations in patient records
  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms, treatment areas, and medical equipment
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing education on animal care and health
  • Perform laboratory tests, including urinalysis, fecal exams, and blood draws
  • Assist with radiography, ultrasound, and other diagnostic procedures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Veterinary Technician License (LVT) required
  • Previous experience as a veterinary technician or assistant preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
