Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team for the evening shift. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations during these hours, ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of all equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Coordinate Maintenance Activities: Oversee the activities of maintenance technicians and mechanics during the evening shift, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Plan and Prioritize Maintenance Activities: Develop and implement plans to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability, ensuring that all maintenance activities are properly prioritized and executed.
  • Perform Hands-on Maintenance Tasks: Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained and functioning at optimal levels.
  • Ensure Compliance with Safety Regulations: Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Maintain Inventory and Supplies: Maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary for maintenance activities, ensuring that all necessary resources are available when needed.
  • Train and Mentor Maintenance Team Members: Provide training and mentorship to maintenance team members, promoting skill development and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance downtime and minimize disruption to production, ensuring that all business operations are conducted smoothly and efficiently.
  • Monitor Equipment Performance: Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or upgrades to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Document Maintenance Activities: Document all maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs, ensuring that all necessary records are accurately maintained.
  • Develop and Implement Maintenance Procedures: Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and best practices, ensuring that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with industry standards and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or technical certification preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience (X+ years) in industrial maintenance, with at least X years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or HVAC systems.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a team.
  • Availability: Availability to work Monday through Thursday, 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
