About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hospice Aide to join our team at Gentiva Hospice. As a Hospice Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients and their families in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist patients with ambulation and transfer to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other mobility devices.
  • Prepare and serve light meals and snacks, and assist with feeding patients as needed.
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as emptying trash and changing linens.
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
  • 6 months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology.
  • Current driver's license and automobile insurance.
  • Current CPR certification.
