Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and Manage Patient Care: Utilize your critical thinking skills to assess each situation and determine the best course of action to support, monitor, and treat patients in critical care situations.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work collaboratively with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners to ensure seamless patient care and transportation.
  • Maintain Safety and Quality Standards: Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, and maintain regular equipment and base checks to ensure compliance with safety standards and briefings.
  • Document and Communicate Patient Information: Share shift change information with transitioning teams and maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records.
  • Stay Current with Certifications and Training: Maintain required certifications and ongoing training to ensure you are up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and techniques.
Requirements
  • Experience: Three years' experience in emergency or critical care setting.
  • Flight Experience: Flight experience preferred.
  • Certifications: Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status, and Trauma certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • Advanced Certification: Advanced certification (CEN, CCRN, CFRN) preferred (required within 12 months of hire).
