Job Summary:

As a Labor and Delivery Nurse with Cynet Health, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns during the most critical moments of their lives. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our ranks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients throughout the labor process, identifying potential complications and taking prompt action to address them.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform various medical procedures as needed, including IV and central line skills, phlebotomy, and pain management.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to any abnormalities, working closely with the medical team to ensure the best possible outcome for both mother and baby.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and current RN licensure in good standing.
• Minimum of one year of experience in Labor and Delivery, with a strong focus on maternal-fetal health and postpartum care.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications, with a strong commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
