**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Manager to join our Operations team at Piasecki Aircraft Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our supply chain and procurement activities to support our business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Management: Conducts, manages, and maintains synchronization of a supply chain for obtaining goods and services for the company.
- Supplier Management: Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
- Procurement Oversight: Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance.
- Negotiation and Contracting: Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions, prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements.
- Contract Management: Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions.
- Supplier Performance: Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues, leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities.
- Supply Chain Enhancements: Initiates and facilitates supply chain enhancements to reduce latency for improved business outcomes.
- Procurement Department Modernization: Plans and manages Procurement Department modernization and digitalization initiatives.
- Improved Procurement Practices: Leads the design and implementation of improved procurement practices that positively impact departmental and inter-departmental workflow.
- Supplier Contract Strategies: Identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.
- Material Review Board: Serves as a member of the PiAC Material Review Board.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or other related field, or relevant work or military experience.
- Experience: 6 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience.
- Skills: 3+ years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions, 3+ years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes, 3+ years of experience using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables.
- Preferred Skills: Experience using Deltek Costpoint Materials Module, knowledge of contract structure, terms, and conditions, negotiation, and contracting processes, experience in Government Sub-Contracts, experience negotiating complex contracts, experience leading teams in a cross-functional environment, experience building positive working relationships.
