Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Warfare Developer to join our team at Huntington Ingalls Industries. As a key member of our Cyber, Electronic, Warfare & Space team, you will be responsible for developing analytics pulling data from multiple cyber sources as well as classic SIGINT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use leading edge technologies to develop analytics pulling data from multiple cyber sources as well as classic SIGINT.
  • Develop prototypes answering new questions as well as providing better answers to existing questions.
  • Develop new ways to represent the data using data science methods and automating analytic processes using machine language frameworks.
  • Work directly with the customer in a highly collaborative, integrated environment.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and document big data cloud computing workflows.
  • Developing answers to questions via Java MapReduce, making them available via the corporate tool suites.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be a US Citizen, due to the sensitivity of the work.
  • Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph for consideration.
  • Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience.
  • Master's degree plus 3-years of relevant experience.
  • Associate's degree plus 7-years of relevant experience or High School diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.
  • Computer Science (CS) degree or related field.
  • Strong Java skills, developing software in Red Hat Linux (versions 3 – 5+).
  • Experience with Java Pig, MapReduce.
  • Experience with technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, etc.
  • Experience with distributed scalable Big Data Store (No SQL) such as H Base, CloudBase/Accumulo, Big Tables, etc.
  • Experience with Hadoop Distributed File Systems (HDFS).

Preferred Requirements:

  • Knowledge of IP Protocols and Network topologies.
  • Experience with GHOSTMACHINE analytic development.
  • Experience with Jira, Maven, and Git.
