Calibration Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Calibration Technician to join our team at AMETEK. As a Calibration Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our measurement and test equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and control the HSC Calibration Process/System
- Maintain calibration and inventory status of all measurement and test equipment (M&TE)
- Receive, issue, store, and maintain inspection tools and gages, including performing calibration and maintaining related records
- Perform tests, inspections, and First Article Inspections (FAI) on products and processes as required
- Assist quality engineers or quality assurance supervisors on activities or assignments for maintaining our Business Management System
- High school graduate preferred but not required
- Basic math skills and ability to read and write English preferred
- Good vision (natural or corrected), excellent hand dexterity in both hands
- Basic knowledge of blueprint reading
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in inspection/quality are required
- 3+ years of work experience in Calibration is preferred
- Supports/trains workers engaged in measuring and testing products and tabulating data concerning materials, products, or processes' quality and reliability
- Ability to coordinate, perform, and/or support the First Article Inspections as needed
- Ensure that we maintain a team atmosphere and work collaboratively with additional departments to support quality-related efforts
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in First Article Inspection per AS9102
- Willingness to work overtime and on weekends as required
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
