Job Summary

Champion, Partners in Rehab is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a Clinical Fellowship position. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will provide quality speech and dysphagia evaluations and treatments to patients with communication and swallowing deficits.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients with a range of communication and swallowing needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Alabama State License to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Preferred completion of a clinical fellowship year or supervised experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
  • Experience working with individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment.
