Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to provide one-to-one support to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. As a Caregiver, you will assist individuals and families living in their personal homes while providing quality care tailored to their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the assigned individual's personal care plan
  • Work with the individual and their family to improve socialization, self-help, and communication skills
  • Provide assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding
  • Encourage and support the individual's independence and autonomy

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move individuals as needed
