Threat Hunter and Analyst

V-Soft Consulting Group is seeking a highly skilled Threat Hunter and Analyst to join our team. As a Threat Hunter and Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating cyber threats to our clients' organizations.

About the Job:

• $105,000 - $130,000 per year (estimated salary range based on location)
• Master's degree in a relevant field (such as Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Assurance)
• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles with a focus on threat intelligence, threat hunting, or security engineering

Responsibilities:

• Conduct proactive threat hunts to identify malicious activity within the organization's environment
• Develop and execute hypotheses based on threat intelligence, behavioral analytics, and organizational risk
• Utilize advanced tools such as EDR/XDR, SIEM, SOAR, and threat intelligence platforms (TIPs) to identify indicators of compromise (IOCs)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud security platforms and tools (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with vulnerability management processes and patching prioritization
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into business-level context
