We are currently seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join our esteemed OB/GYN practice in Tampa, FL. This role requires a shared call and office schedule. **A minimum of 1 year of experience is mandatory**.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in GYN is advantageous. Background in women's health and certified nurse midwifery is highly regarded.
Essential Certifications: Candidates must possess a Florida RN/APRN license or the ability to obtain one, along with AMCB Certification, BLS, and NRP certifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations.
- Diagnose and manage health conditions.
- Complete patient documentation within 48 hours.
- Assist with administrative tasks as directed by the supervising physician.
- Participate in the call rotation as assigned.
- Document hospital visits promptly and accurately.
- Engage in Florida Medical Clinic Provider Conferences.
- Attend monthly CTT meetings.
- Perform additional duties as necessary.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Normal physical capabilities.
- Strong concentration and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to handle stressful situations effectively.
Occupational Hazards:
- Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens and chemical hazards.
Qualifications:
- Florida RN/APRN license or eligibility to obtain.
- AMCB Certification – CNM certification is essential.
- BLS and NRP certifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in computer usage.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Shared call and office schedule is required.
- GYN experience is preferred.
- Background in women's health and certified nurse midwifery is a plus.
