Job Title: Front End Loader Operator

Hubbard Construction is seeking a skilled Front End Loader Operator to join our team. As a Front End Loader Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Loader.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate straight or articulated rubber-tired tractor-type vehicle equipped with front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage or processing areas, to feed conveyors, hoppers, or chutes, and/or stockpile aggregates.
  • Starts engine, shifts gears, presses pedals, and turns steering wheel to operate loader.
  • Moves levers to lower and tilt bucket and drives front-end loader forward to force bucket into bulk material.
  • Moves levers to raise and tilt bucket when filled, drives vehicle to work site, and moves levers to dump Material.
  • Performs routine maintenance on loader, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
Requirements:
  • One (1) to Three (3) years or more of industry-related experience is required for this position, with an emphasis on roads, highways, and bridges.
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
  • Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employees.

  • Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Work environment periodically exposes the employees to high levels of noise, grease, and dust that is typically associated with a construction project.
  • Employee regularly works near heavy equipment and moving machinery.
