Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in a school-based setting. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to students with a variety of physical challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Evaluate students' gross motor skills, strength, range of motion, and functional abilities to identify areas of need.
  • Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Create personalized plans to address students' physical challenges and promote optimal participation in school activities.
  • Collaborate with Educators and Parents: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
  • Provide Direct Therapy Services: Deliver physical therapy services, consultation, and training to students, teachers, and staff.
  • Monitor Progress and Adjust Strategies: Regularly assess student progress and adjust intervention strategies as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy: A graduate degree in Physical Therapy is required.
  • Tennessee State License or Eligibility: A valid Tennessee state license or eligibility for licensure is necessary.
  • Previous Experience in a School-Based Setting: Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of Educational Systems and Laws: A strong understanding of educational systems and laws related to special education is required.
