Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Specialist to join our team and become a key cross-functional member of our 1 and 3-year strategic planning and forecast processes. This role will focus on rebuilding and refining our revenue forecast models, providing ad-hoc financial analysis, and reimagining our month-end close process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the 1 and 3-year strategic planning and forecast processes.
  • Rebuild key revenue forecast models to remove redundancies, increase efficiency, and enhance flexibility for faster changes and easier summarization of outcomes.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support new initiatives and evaluate the performance of existing initiatives.
  • Refine existing forecast models to add flexibility for more inputs, identify incremental drivers, and improve efficiency for changes, ensuring alignment with business operations and simplifying audit and QA processes.
  • Reimagine the month-end close process for easier data actualization, reconciliation to accounting bookings, and identification of business drivers of variances.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with partners across GTM, Product, Analytics, and Accounting teams.
Requirements
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, operate in a cross-functional matrixed organization, and meet deadlines in a high-growth environment focused on driving business results.
  • Ability to quickly synthesize information, structure concise and clear presentations of findings, and articulate recommendations to an executive audience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to partner with all levels of the organization, influence stakeholders using data, and collaborate in an inclusive culture.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel required.
  • Grace under pressure with a good sense of humor and humility.
  • Self-starter with a desire to quickly learn and excel; willing and able to initiate, manage, and execute projects.
