Job Title: Transport & Packaging Specialist

At Biocair, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Transport & Packaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of temperature-sensitive goods.

This is not just any driver role; it's a critical position that requires a high level of expertise and attention to detail. You will be responsible for preparing and packaging temperature-controlled consignments, including ambient, refrigerated, frozen, and dry ice packing. You will also be responsible for building positive working relationships with other drivers, departments, and management to deliver excellent communication and customer service.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and packaging temperature-controlled consignments, including ambient, refrigerated, frozen, and dry ice packing
  • Building positive working relationships with other drivers, departments, and management to deliver excellent communication and customer service
  • Ensuring all correct documentation is accurately completed and processed with the shipment
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse, ensuring all materials are stored in designated areas
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of vehicles and performing daily and weekly vehicle maintenance checks

In addition, you will demonstrate the following key competencies:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Valid US driving license with less than 2 moving violations
  • Valid US driving license for more than 2 years
  • Demonstrable experience of working well under time pressure and ability to check and maintain accurate documentation
