Job Description:

As a key member of the Army National Guard, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of military logistics. Your primary responsibility will be to transport cargo and supplies, utilizing your expertise in vehicle operation and maintenance to ensure safe and efficient transportation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a variety of vehicles and equipment, including trucks, trailers, and other motorized vehicles, over various terrain and roadways.
  • Manage the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring that all items are properly secured and accounted for.
  • Employ defensive driving techniques to minimize the risk of accidents and ensure the safety of personnel and cargo.
  • Identify and report any vehicle deficiencies or maintenance issues, and take corrective action to ensure that all vehicles are in good working order.
  • Prepare vehicles for movement or shipment by air, rail, or vessel, ensuring that all necessary documentation and equipment are in place.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 17 years old and no older than 35.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet the Army National Guard's physical fitness standards.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
