Sociology Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Part-Time Sociology Instructor to join our team at Southwestern College. As a Part-Time Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching a variety of Sociology courses, including Introduction to Sociology, to students at our Chula Vista, National City, Otay Mesa, and San Ysidro campuses.

• Teach Sociology courses, including Introduction to Sociology, to students at our various campuses.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse student populations.
• Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to students.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and instructional materials.

• Masters degree in Sociology or a related field.
• OR Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Master's degree in Anthropology, Ethnic Studies, Social Work, or Psychology.
• OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
