Facilities Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Cardinal Capital Management Inc. This is a full-time position with an estimated annual salary of $52,000 - $65,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

This role will involve performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to service requests, and troubleshooting issues at our properties. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of basic carpentry, painting, and drywall installation and repair. Additionally, they will possess knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems as well as common household appliances.

• Maintenance and Repair:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts to ensure smooth operation of equipment and machinery.
• Respond to service requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Troubleshoot issues and identify cost-effective solutions to resolve problems.
• Perform repairs to building structures and associated mechanical systems.

To be considered for this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in facilities maintenance. You should also possess a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The work environment will typically be moderate noise levels, with occasional exposure to noisy machines and equipment. The physical demands of the role include lifting up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally. The ability to kneel, stoop, and bend to conduct work in confined spaces is also essential.
