Key Responsibilities

  • Engage proactively in your responsibilities, make informed choices, take ownership of outcomes, and serve as a positive representative of LMI.
  • Provide outstanding service to both internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and team members.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at advancing the strategic objectives of the company.
  • Utilize advanced analytical techniques to aid the client organization in making informed, data-driven decisions and addressing complex challenges.

Specific Duties:

  • Conduct analysis of logistics, supply chain, and weapon systems to support operational logistics, including mathematical modeling and systems analysis.
  • Assess logistics processes and propose recommendations for system enhancements.
  • Employ analytical models to evaluate operational capabilities, calculate spare parts needs, and determine maintenance levels.
  • Provide sustainment requirements and cost assessments.
  • Support maintenance planning initiatives and analyze recommendations for improvements in maintenance interventions to achieve supportability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Offer suggestions for optimizing supply support concepts, including identifying enhancements in manufacturing processes to reduce customer wait times.
  • Examine and evaluate government logistics and supply chain policies against performance metrics, providing recommendations for policy and process enhancements.
  • Assist in projects aimed at redesigning or improving system support through supply chains.
  • Support fleet introduction and readiness reviews with a comprehensive understanding of program documentation and planning.
  • Maintain interim operating procedures to support requirements in a client-approved database developed for site activation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related engineering discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Department of Defense logistics and/or supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with advanced modeling, networking, scheduling, and inventory optimization systems and techniques to support supply, inventory management, and distribution policies.
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical capabilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to effectively engage with senior executives from both government and industry.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Must possess a current U.S. Government SECRET clearance or be eligible for one.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Master's degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Current or eligible for TOP SECRET or TS/SCI clearance is preferred.
