About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Geohazard Mitigation Technician. As a key member of our field labor team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and stability of our clients' infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix, spray, and operate shotcrete or grouting pumps to stabilize soil and rock formations
  • Move materials on a construction site, ensuring efficient and safe operations
  • Read and determine measurements to ensure accurate placement of materials
  • Maintain a clean and organized construction site, adhering to safety protocols
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse team to achieve project goals
  • Learn to operate rock drills and other construction equipment, such as excavators and skid steers
Requirements
  • Basic qualifications include prior experience in soil stabilization, grouting, or foundation mitigation, or relevant construction industry experience
  • Ability to travel extensively, with a minimum of 3 weeks per month
  • Reliability, strong work ethic, and enthusiasm for working with a diverse team
  • Preferred qualifications include a CDL Class A or a clean Motor Vehicle Driving Record
Work Environment

The work environment is dynamic, with varying climates and temperatures. You will be exposed to moderate noise levels and may be required to wear hearing protection. Regular heavy lifting (50lbs+) of construction materials is also expected.
