Quality Assurance Inspector Role at Omega EMS

Overview:

In the position of Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be instrumental in verifying that incoming materials adhere to established quality standards. Your role encompasses conducting thorough inspections, executing First Article Inspections (FAIs), and assisting with PCBA evaluations as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing technical drawings and specific guidelines for inspection purposes
  • Employing various inspection tools to confirm material compliance
  • Executing FAIs in accordance with Incoming Quality Control protocols
  • Adhering strictly to provided instructions and specifications

Your duties will also include maintaining the tools and equipment essential for effective performance, performing inspections at both PCB and PCBA levels, and addressing technical queries as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics inspection
  • Knowledge of IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 standards

  • Proficient in English communication skills
  • Familiarity with industry workmanship standards
  • Capability to perform under pressure
