This full-time position requires a highly skilled Substance Abuse Counselor to provide comprehensive treatment services for individuals struggling with substance use disorder. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in counseling, social work, or related fields, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Provide screening, assessment, and counseling services for clients in our Medication Assisted Treatment Program.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working closely with clients to establish clear goals and milestones.
• Prepare progress reports and letters for relevant parties, maintaining accurate records and adhering to confidentiality protocols.
• Educate families and groups on substance abuse treatments and prevention programs, promoting awareness and understanding.
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare or counseling professionals as needed, ensuring seamless collaboration and continuity of care.

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in counseling, social work, or related fields, with a strong background in conflict resolution and crisis management.
• Compassionate and caring demeanor, with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Masters or Bachelors Degree in Counseling or Social Work, with CAADC, CADC certification or development plan in place.
