Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support the speech and language development of students in a school-based setting. As a SLPA with Soliant, you will work closely with Speech-Language Pathologists to provide essential therapy services to students with communication disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in assessments and implement therapy interventions
  • Facilitate group sessions and document progress under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Play a crucial role in helping students improve their communication skills and succeed academically

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field
  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Alaska
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of speech and language development in children
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
