Peak Vascular Access, a leading provider of mobile nursing technology and services, is seeking a skilled Vascular Access Care Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering top-tier solutions to our clients, providing specialized vascular access care with a focus on Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC lines).

Job Summary:
This position offers a flexible PRN schedule, allowing you to balance your current commitments while contributing to the growth and success of our company. As a Vascular Access Care Specialist, you will assess patients for appropriate vascular access needs, perform insertion of PICC lines and Midlines under sterile technique using ultrasound guidance, and collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality customer support, responding promptly to questions and concerns.
  • Assess patients for vascular access needs and select catheter type and insertion site.
  • Monitor complications related to PICC/midline insertion and usage, including infection and thrombosis.
  • Educate patients and healthcare providers on PICC/midline care and maintenance.
