As a Visiting Professor, you will be responsible for teaching nursing students in a dynamic classroom setting and implementing our College's Care philosophy, curriculum, and course objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Curriculum Development: Develop and deliver high-quality educational content to nursing students, ensuring they receive a powerful learning experience.
  • Student Engagement and Support: Establish a positive learning environment by effectively planning and preparing for classes, responding to student requests for assistance, and fostering student success.
  • Collaboration and Professional Development: Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student engagement, participate in curriculum development discussions, and engage in research, scholarship, and academic advising.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Possess exceptional subject matter expertise in Anatomy & Physiology, with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours earned directly in Anatomy & Physiology.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Earned a master's or doctorate degree in Anatomy & Physiology from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Teaching Experience: Have taught or demonstrated a natural ability to teach and help others learn.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Possess genuine passion for nursing, education, and lifelong learning, with exceptional subject matter expertise in Anatomy & Physiology.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Additional Information:

The expected compensation rate for this position is between $1,120 per assignment to $7,245 per assignment, depending on the candidate's education and experience. Actual pay may be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law.
