Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Piping/Plumbing Engineer Intern to join our team in Chapel Hill for Summer 2025. As a Piping/Plumbing Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on significant and complex projects, apply your knowledge, and collaborate with professionals known for advanced engineering solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and development of piping and plumbing systems for various projects
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify innovative solutions for complex engineering problems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to project discussions
Requirements
  • Enrollment in a Mechanical or Architectural Engineering program from an ABET-accredited school
  • Completed 3 years of coursework or have a junior standing
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities/student organizations
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes
  • Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
  • Effective working individually and within team environments
