About the Role

Aramark is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Clinical Dietitian to join our dynamic healthcare team at BS&W - Hillcrest Hospital in Waco, TX.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assess Patient Nutritional Status: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' nutritional needs and develop personalized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific requirements.
  • Provide Education and Counseling: Offer education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition care.
  • Monitor Patient Progress: Regularly monitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed to ensure effective care.
  • Stay Current with Industry Developments: Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition to provide evidence-based care.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution.
  • Registration and Licensure: Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) designation required or the ability to obtain RD/RDN within 6 months. Licensed Dietitian status in Texas or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Passion for helping patients achieve optimal health through proper nutrition.
